Burning Couch Festival Branding

Burning Couch Festival is a local music festival taking place in Bloomington, IN, put on by a group of local students. Burning Couch Festival puts the spot light on local musicians as well as local art and food vendor to create a day long festival experience.
I am the media director of this group and was responsible for creating all of the social media visuals, poster advertisement, and day of visuals.
Burning Couch Festival 2024
The theme for BCF this year was mythical creatures that correspond with fire. With that in mind, I made a few mythical characters repeated throughout the visuals. I also made several fire-like shapes to be used throughout the branding as well. Another important aspect to me was the color scheme of the visuals. I wanted the colors to be bold and legible leading to the choice of neon pinks, oranges, blues, and purples. I also hand lettered the Burning Couch text used to brand several aspects around the festival.
