Poggio Micio

Ospitalità Nella Collina

Poggio Micio was birthed from a branding assignment where students were tasked with bringing different hospitality businesses to life. Inspired by my study abroad experience, I created a client brief for an Italian couple who fell in love over wine, cats, and Tuscany. As I developed the branding for the couples wine and lodging business, I remained true to the couples story of love, dedication to the history of the land, and most important, a destination where both couples and their furry friends can call home.

Mock Creative Brief

“Angelo Brunellesco and Lucia Giovanni met 20 years ago in the small Tuscan town of San Gimignano, and fell in love with the mesmerizing hills and medieval architecture. Currently living in Florence, the pair is ready for the next chapter of their life by moving back to small town life. The land offers a 30 acre plot of land with rows of grape vines and a medieval castle. Lucia has a background in working crops with her family and is committed to ethically rehabilitating the historic area. Angelo is a retired artist who committed to reinstating the political and historical aspects to the property. In addition to the vineyard and artisan wines, the castle will have a small number of rooms that will be refurbished to host guests who want to stay on the property. The couple’s goal is to create a genuine experience that reflect Tuscan culture, traditions, and craftsmanship. Angelo and Lucia are passionate about creating a unique vineyard experience that celebrates the rich history and stunning landscape of Tuscany.”
