Oliver Winery

Graphic Designer | Fall 2025-Spring 2026

Oliver Winery is an award winning Indiana based winery that is the oldest in the state, and one of the largest in the U.S. The winery was founded in 1972 with humble beginnings as professor William Oliver started winemaking as a side passion project that grew into a top-rated world-class destination. Now, as Oliver Winery continues to grow, they continue their precision in crafting high-quality, fruit-forward tasting wines.

In August 2025, I had the honor of starting an internship Oliver Winery. Under the Creative Director and Lead Designer James Yount, I learned about the inner workings of a world renowned in-house marketing team. Some of my responsibilities in this position are to design and prepare content for store display, SEO and web outreach, buyer point of sale presentations, and file preparation for large-scale material. Another important role I have filled during this experience is working with the intern team to handcraft influencer experiences and packages to promote community outreach and relationships.

While this position was offered to me as an internship, I was eventually promoted to a full time in-house graphic designer allowing me to gain experience handling my own projects and campaigns.

New Year, Real You

Q1 Display Campaign | Fall 2025

The New Year, Real You Q1 campaign was the first project that I was given the responsibility to oversee and design the overall imagery and content. While each piece of work produce is a collaboration effort with the creative team, I heavily influenced the direction of the visual style. The New Year, Real You campaign was conceptualized from the status quo of new years resolutions purpose of β€˜reinventing the new you’. At Oliver, we wanted promote a change to this norm, that the you that already exists does not need to be reinvented, but revived to create the most authentic, self-affirming you.

To represent the celebration of self identity, we created a vision board style approach that includes many pieces of Oliver’s past, present, and future. Each small graphic was handcrafted to represent Oliver and it’s journey in hopes to displays the brands values and long lasting community. The case stack to the left was built in Photoshop and includes pieces of past print material, vintage photos, scraps around the office, my own handwriting, sketches, and more. Not only does it represent Olivers personality, but a piece of my own as a brief member of its legacy.

These are three different lug-ons I created that would be printed to attach to the main case stack. The β€œLove The Real You” was made specifically for the month of February and a reminder that the real you deserves love and care.

Influencer Boxes

Q4 Display Campaign | Fall 2025

With each new campaign, an influencer box is carefully designed and crafted to reflect the visual personality of the concept and promote Oliver’s fruit forward products. For the New Year, Real You campaign, we wanted our recipients of these packages to take the time and reflect on themselves while unwinding with some of our most beloved fruit moscatos. To help each person better connect with themselves, we included materials for a vision board that focuses on self empowerment, rather than transformation.

In order to make this concept come to life, I worked with my intern team to source Oliver fruit themed push pins, new years bracelets, and fruit balloon stickers. In addition to this, I design a custom sticker sheet, a cut-out inspirational quotes sheet, and the inside and outside stickers to further customize the box experience.

Influencer Events

The Autumn Edition | Fall 2025

In addition to supporting Olivers influencer outreach through influencer boxes, we also wanted to invite local micro influencers in the Bloomington, IN community to visit the winery. To help build relationships between Indiana University’s students and their local winery, the team wanted to curate an experience for young adults to learn more about winemaking and how Oliver is a leading creative in the sweet wine industry. We also wanted to create an atmosphere where student influencers who didn’t know each other could come together and create a community.

For this experience, I designed a themed invitation, name tags, menu, tote bag, and tissue paper. During the event, I took photos of the influencers and candid moments of the experience.

MINX  by oliver winery

Digital & Print Promotion | Fall 2025

MINX wine is a high alcohol sub brand created by Oliver Winery. This brand was released in 2025 as a response to the quick growing market of higher ABV wines. Oliver wanted be a contestant in this market focusing on flavor that comes from real fruit and natural ingredients. Because this brand is so young, I had the opportunity to direct the visual energy in both print and digital promotions. MINX wine brings big flavor to an unforgettable night proving a quick buzz does not have to come with an overbearing taste experience.

The MINX visual campaign reflects the fun, energetic, unforgettable memories that come from choosing MINX as your night out companion. The bold flavors in the first MINX products, Blackberry Grape and Peach Mango, heavily influence the graphic components. For this campaign, I have created social media content, posters, and merchandise.

Instacart Digital Shelf

Fall and Evergreen Wireframe | Fall 2025

During my time at Oliver, it has also been my responsibility to keep our digital shelf up to date with each season that passes. This task involves making sure bottle shots are up to date, copy text reflects the nature of each product, creating engaging graphics to supports our focus SKUs, and bridging an overall visual theme for each seasons presence. One of the ways that Oliver promotes its sweet wines through its digital efforts is by coming up with curated cocktails with our wines. These recipes are featured on our brand evergreen home pages as well as seasonal themed drink recipes on individual themed pages.
