Jam Sesh was a project assigned in letterpress. The project description was to make an invitation poster made with at least two layers of a linoleum cut block. 

I chose my invitation to be an invitation to jam. I cut 6 different linoleum blocks with traditional jazz instruments. The large text was made with varied wood type and the smaller text  and stars were printed with cut acrylic. I wanted to experiment with the layering of blocks and color mixing with rubber based ink and transparency ink.
